TP-LINK Archer BE550 Wi-Fi 7 BE9300 tri-band 2.5G router

The Archer BE550 V1 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router designed for high speeds, wide coverage, and stable performance in larger homes. The device supports speeds of up to 5760 Mbps in the 6 GHz band, 2880 Mbps in the 5 GHz band, and 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, providing enough bandwidth for the demands of a modern home network. Six optimally positioned antennas, Beamforming signal direction, and a high-performance FEM transmitter contribute to extended coverage that is sufficient even for four-bedroom homes.
The router supports advanced Wi-Fi 7 technologies such as Multi-Link Operation, 320 MHz channels, 4K-QAM, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and additional DFS channels to reduce congestion. A larger number of wireless streams allows for efficient distribution of devices across different frequency bands. The device operates in router or access point mode and is compatible with EasyMesh for network expansion with additional units.
Five 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports (1 WAN + 4 LAN) are available for connecting high-speed wired devices, while USB 3.0 provides FTP, Samba, and media server functions. The router includes a rich set of security features such as SPI firewall, Access Control, IP & MAC Binding, and HomeShield security with IoT device protection, attack prevention, and network scanning. For remote access and secure connectivity, it supports VPN server and client with OpenVPN, L2TP, PPTP, and WireGuard protocols.
Management is done via the Tether app or web interface, with additional features such as device-based QoS, port forwarding, parental controls, DDNS, IPTV settings, and automatic device updates. Due to its performance and tri-band operation, the Archer BE550 is suitable for demanding home users who need high speeds and a stable network in larger living spaces.
